Formally, Rockstar Games has announced a Fall release window for the open-world crime epic, but given the developer’s history of delays with its flagship titles, it is reasonable to question whether this launch timeline will ultimately be met.
Not aligned with the parent company, Take-Two Interactive, which is the umbrella organization for Rockstar Games. Take-Two recently reaffirmed in its quarterly earnings report that the game will be released this fall, indicating a continued commitment to meeting its previously announced schedule. While there is a possibility of a delay announcement down the road, initial reports suggest that production is currently on track and moving forward according to plan.
For the second time, Take-Two has reaffirmed its commitment to releasing the game by Fall 2025, with CEO Strauss Zelnick previously expressing confidence that the company will meet this deadline.
The game will be available to play upon launch on both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
