Sq. Enix has adopted a strategy of regularly releasing smaller, experimental video games to test the waters, and earlier this year, the company followed suit by launching. The multiplayer shooter, which garnered some attention prior to its release, has unfortunately struggled to gain significant momentum since its launch. Quickly, Sq. Will Enix also cease providing support for the game following its release?
The corporation has announced that subsequent to this season, the series will conclude with a finale episode, titled “Parks and Recreation: The Final Social Gathering,” marking the end of an era for the beloved show. From December 13 to January 17, Square Enix’s upcoming season aims to introduce several gameplay enhancements that ensure players continue to enjoy the game indefinitely. Enix is set to introduce the Foamstars Cup, a series of in-game events inspired by each character.
After its final season concludes, the game will remain available for online play, with existing features still functional, even though it won’t receive any additional content updates. Ranked events will seamlessly transition into the esteemed Foamstars Cup, whereas Squads will compete in a separate bracket to determine their own champion. Enix hosts a rotating series of Excessive Events every Saturday. The in-game store will remain a valuable resource, updating daily with fresh content, while daily and weekly challenges are also available to keep players engaged.
Furthermore, older season battle passes will become accessible, allowing players to seamlessly switch between their active passes at any moment.
Is now available for download on both PS5 and PS4, with no cost to players.
