Magnopus, the esteemed XR studio responsible for launching a pioneering blended reality health application for Quest, has unveiled a cutting-edge platform harnessing volumetric 3D captures to deliver authoritative guidance from esteemed experts in yoga, Pilates, and mindfulness.
Launched earlier this year, the Quest-exclusive app initially features 32 courses, with a plan to introduce four to five new yoga and Pilates courses each month, complemented by regular meditation sessions.
With instructors like Ashley Galvin, Annie Landa, Bianca Sensible, Kirat Randhawa, and Susy Markoe Schieffelin, the subscription app offers a unique blend of instruction and adventure, hosting classes in exotic destinations such as Spain, Norway, and Thailand.
In the coming months, Magnopus plans to expand its offerings by introducing new instructors and programs, including extended 20+ minute yoga sessions, intense fast-firming and sculpting courses, as well as specialized classes from renowned instructors Briohny Smyth and Josh Kramer on yoga fundamentals. The lineup will also feature evening reset stretching, breathwork, and other innovative practices.
“Clients collaborate seamlessly with their 3D instructors, manipulating them from any vantage point for a comprehensive 360-degree understanding that informs insightful design and motion planning,” Within this pioneering immersive experience, mixed-reality seamlessly blends the user’s physical environment with virtual elements, leveraging advanced room mapping and object detection technologies to craft a safe and inviting atmosphere that harmonizes with their natural surroundings. Within mindfulness courses, tranquil environments – Clouds, Water, and Summary – offer an unparalleled retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
With this feature, users will have a seamless experience while using their controllers at eye level or even upside down, receiving support for hand-tracking on all compatible devices, including Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest Pro, and the forthcoming Quest 3S.
Is available for $69 per year or $10 per month, with a specific bundle deal for $49 per year. Notably, users have access to a standalone subscription on their flat-screen app across iOS devices; however, existing members can upgrade to XR for an additional $20 per year.
Additionally, existing customers are eligible to receive a one-month trial, while new users can enjoy a complimentary seven-day trial period.
