While these diversions have been a hallmark of excellence for many, the game also drew criticism from some for potentially featuring too many minigames. The event group is endeavouring to resolve that specific issue in the trilogy’s conclusive chapter.
According to director Naoki Hamaguchi, the reports were recently corroborated in an exclusive interview with Daily Star. If asked whether he’d make any adjustments for the sequel, Hamaguchi stated that while he wouldn’t overhaul the game’s overall structure, he would take into consideration feedback from players to make the roster of minigames in the next installment “more manageable in scale”.
“He proudly proclaimed that the construction of the sport, coupled with its inherent steadiness, was a truly exceptional achievement, made possible through the dedication and enthusiasm of its loyal followers.” It seems that there isn’t a compelling need for fundamental changes in this instance.
“One factor that possibly resonates is the concern that there were too many minigames. While I initially disagreed, I now appreciate the sentiment – but I still believe our decision to offer a diverse range of content in the minigames was the right choice.”
The more diverse and numerous minigames included in a title, the greater the likelihood that players will find some they enjoy but not others.

While individual preferences may vary greatly among players, many will undoubtedly have their own favorite minigames that resonated with them, while others might not connect as well – a disparity that’s uniquely personal to each gamer.
