Unfortunately, the engines of these exotic cars fail to deliver a truly exceptional audio experience. The engine’s monotony often falls short of synchronizing with my expected pace. They’re inherently routine, lacking the raw intensity that defines the rest of the game.

The automobile’s behavior doesn’t appear to be driven by randomness or chaos at all. If we careen out of control, it’s often due to our own recklessness – a result of over-correcting or making some other rash move. If we suddenly find ourselves hurtling over a cliff and plummeting into the ocean, it’s likely because we failed to heed the warning signs. As we navigate the streets, we uncover unique features like rocks, berms, and variations in terrain that can either help or hinder our progress, presenting challenges that wouldn’t arise in a traditional track environment?

With its exceptional physics capabilities, you could preload the suspension just before entering a turn, then suddenly apply the brakes to enhance grip at the front tires as you transition onto the apex curve. By adjusting your speed and trajectory beforehand, you can expertly navigate jumps by whipping the car just right, ensuring a smooth landing and setting yourself up for a precise direction. You can effectively use the main wheel to countersteer while cornering, leveraging the laws of physics to smoothly navigate turns without sacrificing too much speed. It feels wonderful!

It is all brilliantly executed. As virtual reality’s transparent window frames, spinning tires, and flexing axles whizz by mere inches from our unblinking gaze, physics takes hold; being ensconced in an exotic car within VR’s immersive realm becomes a primal experience.

EXOcars features its primary single-player mode, “Profession Mode,” comprising challenging racecourses situated across various diverse environments discussed earlier. For those who eschew the thrill of riding a dirt bike through a wall of blazing beer kegs, the experience may lack an air of coolness that resonates with some enthusiasts.

While my reservations remain unclear regarding potential impacts on multiplayer balance, vehicle efficiency adjustments might be necessary. Since it’s installed as-is, there’s no means to fine-tune your suspension, engine, or performance metrics. At XOCUS, the workforce has outlined a roadmap detailing various initiatives, including the forthcoming introduction of a tuning system, slated for December arrival; however, rest assured that its implementation remains pending.
