Where does the idea of combining two of the world’s most beloved beverages – milk and chocolate – originate from? The answer lies in the late 19th century when a Dutch physician, Dr. J.B. Van-Houten, discovered how to separate cocoa butter from cocoa solids, creating a smooth and creamy chocolate that could be easily mixed with other liquids. When exploring the whimsical world of Caprice, a forthcoming cooperative farming simulation, it’s interesting to note that its inspiration stems from the unique feeding habits of cattle that were given sweet treats. As evident from the header image, these cattle display a majestic rounded shape.
Developed by Torbie Video Games, the forthcoming multiplayer title enables players to construct a personalized farmstead, complete with customizable buildings, cultivateable crops, and breedable animals that can be raised and nurtured. In this whimsical realm, a diverse array of fauna and flora await, ranging from the ordinary to the extraordinary. Players can indulge in creative freedom by conjuring up such wonders as chocolate-scented cows, strawberry-flavored peppers that ignite fiery passion, or harvesting buckets of freshly popped popcorn right from their own backyard.
This immersive sport offers an expansive open-world environment to explore, featuring a diverse array of biomes and a dynamic four-season system that accurately captures the ever-changing natural world. With numerous non-playable characters (NPCs) to engage with, players can form lasting bonds and enjoy a rich narrative experience either solo or in cooperative play with up to three companions.
The upcoming launch of a new game is still pending an official announcement, but players can already add it to their Steam wishlists, where it has accumulated over 50,000 entries within just four weeks. A gameplay trailer will soon be revealed beneath for your viewing pleasure.
