As we’ve entered November without any indication, Nintendo’s official announcement of the Switch 2 remains elusive. Despite this uncertainty, it’s widely acknowledged that the corporation’s next-generation console is poised for a launch before April, prompting developers to openly discuss the possibility of porting their games to the yet-to-be-announced platform.
Considered among others is Renaud Charpentier, the recreation director at Tower 5. When asked about the possibility of releasing Tower 5 with a Change 2 model, Charpentier mentioned that while they’re currently unaware of the console’s specs, the development crew would be “very pleased” to potentially see the game on the platform, especially since the Steam Deck version has proven it works well on portable hardware.
“We’re eager to witness the definitive specifications of the Change sequel, and it would be a great privilege to provide input on it,” said Charpentier in an interview with GamingBolt. “What’s unequivocal is that the Valve-designed control scheme in the Steam Deck format will harmonize exceptionally well, as evident from the extensive expertise already gained; ultimately, it’s a matter of consistent execution.”
During the same interview, Charpentier also verified the game’s performance and frame rate goals across all platforms. Discover additional insights about that topic through this resource.
Is set to release on November 7 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
