With PlayStation’s presence already established at ChinaJoy 2024, the excitement grows as Omega Pressure’s appearance is now officially confirmed for this year’s event. According to the official Twitter account of the franchise, producer Tomohiko Sho is scheduled to appear live on air during Sony’s broadcast to unveil fresh gameplay footage.
While scheduled to take place between 1 pm and 2 pm JST, Sony has yet to provide a release date; however, the livestream link is now available on BiliBili. In this freshly minted title, players can expect to lead the “largest armies ever assembled” into battle. Set against the epic backdrop of the Three Kingdoms period, with its multitude of legendary conflicts, the game promises an immersive experience as you command and control your forces, working in tandem with allied troops to emerge victorious.
While playing through the game’s primary franchise mode, players will have the opportunity to manage and control their very own anonymous hero. The potential impact of their function and effect on the story, which could potentially serve as a prequel to the mainline titles, remains unclear.
ChinaJoy 2024 will take place from July 26th to July 29th. debuting in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Stay tuned for future updates in the meantime.
