According to SteamDB, as of our writing date, the game has reached a remarkable peak of 70,414 concurrent players on Steam, marking the day of its initial release. Notably, this achievement surpasses the concurrent player counts of other notable titles, including over 62,000 gamers at its peak, exceeding previous benchmarks like over 60,000, over 55,000, and even BioWare’s own final main launch, which reached over 59,000 players concurrently.
That additionally means is that Dragon Age: Inquisition has become BioWare’s most popular Steam game to date, outperforming its predecessors and even surpassing Electronic Arts’ (EA) top-selling single-player game on the platform, with a peak of over 67,000 concurrent players.
