BioWare’s emphasis on role-playing techniques appears puzzling, given the ambiguity surrounding various events and elements, including alternative and consequence mechanics, which seem to be heavily influenced by its approach to character development and customization. A part of that’s, in fact, going to be the gear that gamers will equip their occasion members with, and extra particulars had been not too long ago shared on that entrance, courtesy of a current Discord Q&A (through @shinobi on Twitter).
BioWare has officially confirmed that the game will feature faction-specific gear, comprising equipment and gear items closely tied to specific factions, with more becoming available as players support these factions to a greater extent. Such armor will, for instance, also boast a theme inspired by the wearer’s faction. A comprehensive transmogrification system is slated for inclusion, which will enable players to alter their characters’ appearances at will. Additionally, the game will feature unique, character-specific, and class-specific armors that cater to individual preferences.
BioWare has unveiled several UI customization options that players will have access to in its forthcoming fantasy RPG. The UI can accommodate a multitude of elements, including enemy health bars, damage values, incoming attack warnings, quest objectives, the mini-map, and more.
The developer has further confirmed that while the game will primarily feature a mission-based and largely linear structure, it will also include several large and expansive open areas where players can freely explore and discover new content. Discover more about it here.
