Just a few years ago, Treatment Leisure employed a clever tactic – second enlargement, to be exact – to tease what’s to come, and it seems the developer has adopted that very same strategy once more, this time leveraging recently released DLC to sneakily provide the first glimpses of the upcoming title.
As Kiran Estevez approaches the tip of the enlargement, she is unexpectedly transported to familiar surroundings: initially, the Oceanview Lodge, and later, the Panopticon within the Oldest Home’s historic headquarters, the FBC’s central command center. In a revealing conversation on the Panopticon, Samantha Carter engages in a thought-provoking dialogue with Dylan, the brother of Jesse Faden, the protagonist and director of the Federal Bureau of Control.
The dialogue in that film is notoriously enigmatic, but its conclusion does hint at a glimmer of insight into Dylan’s character, as if the protagonist momentarily accesses a deeper understanding, with visions unfolding from what seems to be a glimpse of the future. It appears that the sport won’t be confined to Wembley Stadium’s iconic surroundings, but instead transport players to a transformed New York City, where the Hiss’s influence seems to have left its mark on the cityscape.

Indeed, before its launch last year, author and artistic director Sam Lake confirmed that the game would continue to build upon and set up storylines for the future of the larger Treatise Linked Universe, which aligns perfectly with the developer’s brand.
Formally confirmed to have resumed growth in 2022, a year after previously being announced to have transitioned into “manufacturing readiness” mode, indicating progress towards its eventual release. Treatment Leisure has officially confirmed that its forthcoming book will be independently published.
A standalone co-op spinoff, set within the universe, was recently announced and is scheduled for release next year.
