Digital Solar’s debut has finally arrived on PC via Steam Early Access, following a short delay. The latest release from Moonlighter’s developers brings a thrilling survival real-time strategy experience to a ravaged post-apocalyptic landscape, where players meticulously construct fortifications throughout the day before unleashing hell on waves of terrifying Horrors as night falls.
Utilizing a modular, LEGO-inspired framework, users will have the flexibility to strategically position obstacles and bottlenecks as they navigate through and reconfigure their creations. Despite the destruction of partitions, military units can still suffer damage, making it crucial to monitor defensive systems to ensure survival? As players progress in Prosperity, access to additional troops, upgrades, and buildings becomes available.
The Early Entry Model comprises a comprehensive package featuring three distinct modes: Marketing Campaign Mode, with its 11 tiers spread across two unique biomes, and boasting full voice acting; Skirmish Mode; and Limitless Mode. A stage editor could seamlessly integrate with Steam Workshop, facilitating the sharing and downloading of community-crafted maps and blueprints.
New biomes, terrain ranges, and additional features are forthcoming, with the developer aiming for a steady stream of content throughout the initial six months of 2025; stay updated for further information in the interim.
