As Sport Science undergoes a major revamp in real-time, it’s not just about addressing bugs or refining features – this update promises to be a game-changer. The game now offers two fresh challenge modes: the Return of Rivals, a thrilling boss rematch experience, and the Gauntlet of Legends, an intense boss rush mode that puts your skills to the test. The game allows you to rematch any previously defeated boss at one of three distinct difficulty levels.
The latter allows for going through “a series of opponents in successive combat,” where some adversaries may sport novel tactics. As before, the game’s success hinges on defeated enemies, and players can employ curses to enhance the challenge of their experience. Finishing the Gauntlet yields a comprehensive collection of innovative medications, refreshing drinks, rejuvenating soaks, intriguing curios, cutting-edge tools, and potent weapons.
The Journeyer’s Chart, seemingly a topographic representation of their odyssey, unfolds like an ancient parchment, its worn creases telling the tale of countless journeys undertaken. Upon completing the Keeper, you’ll receive your first primary one for Black Wind Mountain. Maps for unexplored territories can be discovered within the Shrine once you’ve ventured into new regions. Celebrating China’s Lunar New Year, players can also obtain the Armor Set of Opulence from the Shrine, while enjoying the game’s soundtrack, minus a few tracks affected by copyright issues.
