This October, a thrilling addition to the Batman series arrives – Batman: Arkham Shadow – available as a complimentary gift with every new Quest 3 or Quest 3S purchase.
Meta previously targeted a release date of October for its highly anticipated game, Batman: Arkham Shadow, developed by Camouflaj, with the exact launch scheduled for October 22nd. Meta officially announced during its annual Join convention that all new Quest 3 headset purchases made between now and April 30, 2025, will come with a complimentary copy of the game and a three-month subscription to Meta Quest+, effective immediately.
This latest package deal ties in with Meta’s previous Asgard’s Wrath 2 bundle for Quest 3 headsets, and the 512GB model also comes equipped with a six-month subscription to Quest+. The upcoming release of Batman: Arkham Shadows, a VR motion RPG, is unlikely to synchronize its launch directly with that of Quest 3S or Meta’s latest headset, scheduled to debut on October 15.
Pre-orders have opened for the Quest 3S, an entry-level variant that leverages the same chipset and color passthrough capabilities found in its higher-end counterpart, the Quest 3, while reducing costs by employing older Fresnel lenses and a single panel setup instead of the dual panels used in the Quest 3. The Quest 3S models are priced at $300 for the 128GB variant and $400 for the 256GB version, while the 512GB model saw a significant reduction in price, now available for $500, down from its original price of $650.
The highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Shadow is set to launch on October 22 for the Meta Quest 3 platform, and we’ve shared our early thoughts on it already.
