Developed by Decision Games, Recreation Room was initially considered one of the finest Apple Vision Pro games available, commending “a robust presentation with excellent interactive effects.” Currently exclusive to Apple Vision Pro on headsets – it’s also available on iPhone and iPad – the board game collection recently added Backgammon in its latest post-launch update. Backgammon has been added as the eighth recreation to Recreation Room, making it the third new game introduced since its initial release. The library of available video games features timeless classics like Solitaire, Chess, Hearts, and Yacht, as well as engaging options such as Sea Battle, Checkers, and Flip It – all accessible for play within a fully immersive environment or mixed reality setting that leverages the capabilities of passthrough.
The latest innovation from Decision Games has been unveiled for Apple Vision Pro users. While Pico has already ported tabletop co-op adventure Demeo to Apple Vision Pro, the company is also gearing up to bring upcoming titles like Spatial Ops and Dwelling Sports activities exclusively to Quest, with Spatial Ops also making its way to Pico devices.
The Recreation Room is accessible on Apple Visionary Professional, iPhone, and iPad through an Apple Arcade subscription for $6.99 per month.
