Launched into Early Access on Quest in July, introducing a single mission (“chapter”) and offering select unlockable blades as part of the initial content drop, paving the way for subsequent releases over the coming months. The ‘Full Version’ of developer UNIVRS’s content is now available, boasting an expanded library of four distinct chapters for users to explore.
During our July hands-on experience, the game’s mechanics were reminiscent of a tech demo, with a substantial portion of core gameplay confined to a solitary chapter and an endless wave mode featuring mandatory scoring requirements.
In its full version, Half One players can relive their journey by diving back into Expertise Chapters Three and Four, the Epilogue, and engaging in intense battles against an Armored Titan boss.
For the first time, you’ll have the chance to experience cooperative play across all chapters, allowing you and your teammates to work together seamlessly.
The imminent release of the full game is accompanied by UNIVRS’ announcement of a ‘Thunder Spear Unlock Event’ slated for January, described as a “global challenge”. A complimentary update is planned for 2025, according to the game’s website.
Although we initially found the sport quite challenging during our hands-on session last year, it seems that fans have taken a liking to it. As of this writing, Cyberpunk 2077 has secured a consistent [4.5/5] user rating on the Horizon Retailer.
If you purchased the Early Entry model, you will receive Part Two as a complimentary download. If you’re new to the series, consider purchasing Half 1 separately for $8 or the bundle including both halves for $20, with Half 2 available for $12, requiring prior purchase of Half 1. The VR Sport app enhances performance for Quest 2, Quest Pro, and Quest 3 Series headsets.
