With Asgard’s Wrath 2 now boasting a comprehensive content update, Sanzaru Games is shifting gears to tackle their “next big thing”?
Following the recent release of Sanzaru Games’ “final main title update” for Asgard’s Wrath 2, the studio has ruled out any further content updates for its 2023 VR action role-playing game. The group has announced on their Discord server, accessible via this link [invite hyperlink], that they are henceforth focusing exclusively on critical highlights and bug analysis, as noticed by QuestWithMatt; a group manager has since confirmed that they will be transitioning to new endeavors.
The studio has announced a shift in their focus, revealing that they will soon unveil an exciting development, which they are eager to share with their community once it is ready. The lack of details surrounding the upcoming project makes it uncertain whether it will be a sequel to Asgard’s Wrath or a standalone title, leaving many questions unanswered.
Elsewhere, the latest Cosmic Occasion has kicked off, preparing for an extended winter prophesied by Ragnarök, despite Sanzaru Games initially announcing November’s ‘The Trickster’s Legacy’ as the “newest and final” such event. This month, rewards from the initial monthly occasion are being reprised with new objectives, while previous Cosmic Events will be looped every 30 days.
Throughout the year, select Cosmic Occasions from prior months will be reactivated, providing a second opportunity for players who may have initially missed their chance to participate and enjoy the experience once again. Now is a perfect opportunity for anyone who may have overlooked or missed out on some of the initial rewards to go back and collect what they’ve been missing. You won’t be able to double up on previous rewards outside of using Nova Stones – so stockpile Nova Stones to help craft earlier tools you may have missed or overlooked.
Asgard’s Wrath 2 is now available on the Meta Quest platform.
