Disney has released a trailer revealing its entire slate of upcoming projects for 2025, providing clarity on what’s to come from the House of Mouse.
As it appears, what unfolded was a novel approach to tease forthcoming TV shows through spotlight reels rather than releasing a dedicated trailer, which may be an effective strategy for capturing audience attention nowadays. Both methods, I’m unable to alter them, and I’m faced once again with this challenge, just as before, immediately after the official Disney+ YouTube channel shared a spotlight reel showcasing a plethora of titles set to arrive on the streaming service in 2025. Notably, the released reel offers a first glimpse at Andor season 2 in action – there isn’t much to see there, but it appears to be quite the dramatic piece of TV, set to premiere on April 22 next year?

While you won’t stumble upon Andor without some advance exposure, a recent look at Alien: Covenant offers a more substantial glimpse into the show’s tone and atmosphere, distinct from the cryptic teaser trailer released in September. While brief, this teaser hints at the character’s presence, offering a fleeting glance at Sydney Chandler as Wendy, the show’s protagonist. Moreover, a couple of tantalizing hints at upcoming appearances for Ironheart and Daredevil: Born Again are also worth noting. The former seems poised to bring genuinely mechanical, non-organic elements back into the MCU, a welcome relief from the omnipresent nanomachines that have dominated recent narratives.
Discovering an extra dose of drama? You’ll also uncover tantalizing glimpses of The Bear’s forthcoming fourth season, alongside The Handmaid’s Tale’s sixth and final instalment, plus exciting newcomers such as Chad Powers, Paradise, and Good American Family.
