Recent reports indicated that the partnership between Amazon Prime and Sony’s TV collection was undergoing a significant shift, as showrunner Rafe Judkins and executive producers Hawk Ostby and Mark Fergus are expected to step down from their roles, paving the way for an entirely new creative team to take the reins. It seems likely that our primary focus will shift to addressing this key issue.
According to Deadline, the project has appointed Roger D. as its new showrunner, author, and executive producer. Unfamiliar with his work, recent years have found Moore occupying the same executive positions he held previously, now at Starz and Apple TV, respectively, overseeing successful productions. Previously, he spearheaded the rebranding effort, having previously been deeply involved in several film and television productions.
As previously announced, the next steps in growth for this project are likely to begin anew from the ground up, with Sony Santa Monica’s Cory Barlog and Yumi Yang continuing to serve as executive producers, alongside PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan, PlayStation’s Hermen Hulst, and Vertigo’s Roy Lee.
