One of the initial PlayStation 5-bound titles was confirmed, and Treatment Leisure has just disclosed detailed information about how their critically acclaimed survival horror game will leverage PS5’s capabilities when it launches next month.
The most significant upgrade in the PS5 Pro’s capabilities, as showcased by Treatment, lies in its introduction of ray tracing technology. When operating in High-quality mode, the game is designed to provide enhanced support for ray-traced reflections, a key feature on console platforms. The game will operate at a frame rate of 30 frames per second and may be showcased in ultra-high definition, with a resolution up to 3840 x 2160 pixels, which is derived from an original render resolution of 2176 x 1224.
On Efficiency Mode, you can expect improved visual consistency, as utilizing PSSR will enable the sport to run without compromising on visuals, despite the lack of ray tracing. Operating at 60 frames per second, this mode also features 4K resolution, upscaled from roughly the same render resolution as High-quality Mode, surpassing the 1440p of Efficiency Mode on a standard PS5.
