Treatment Leisure’s second expansion will also debut in October, alongside the long-awaited release of Bodily Deluxe Version.
The developer’s brief comment, “Not a lot!”, was corroborated by their reiteration that the expansion takes place at the titular facility near Cauldron Lake and Vibrant Falls. In the Treatment Universe, an ostensibly unbiased authority group was tasked with conducting a secretive analysis, but as is often the case, things took a turn for the worse.
The fate of these events remains uncertain, but it’s likely they’ll have a significant impact on the narrative of the final game. The story diverged significantly with the introduction of three new protagonists: The Actor, The Waitress, and The Sibling. Tales unfold within a self-contained narrative framework, unaffected by their original sources.
