The highly anticipated VR aerial combat simulator, Aces of Thunder, is set to take to the skies on various platforms, including non-PlayStation VR 2 systems, when it launches later this year.
Gaijin Entertainment has announced that Aces of Thunder, a forthcoming spin-off for War Thunder, is set to arrive on SteamVR this autumn 2024. The package includes two dozen iconic planes, unlockable immediately, alongside 15 maps that vividly recreate three pivotal theaters of World War II: the Eastern Front, Western Europe, and the Pacific Ocean. Online multiplayer allows for seamless team-ups with friends, also featuring solo play options within the game.
This isn’t the most recent information on Aces of Thunder we’ve come across? Last month, Gaijin Entertainment unveiled more information about the game’s Soviet aircraft, including the Yak-9, Yak-3, La-5N, and IL-2.
The studio previously provided a comprehensive overview of US aircraft available for inclusion, featuring iconic models such as the P-63 Kingcobra, P-47 Thunderbolt, P-51 Mustang, and the SB2C Helldiver dive bomber.
