According to Dogfight Boss, it collaborated with European F-16 pilot instructors for nearly a year to refine the simulator. The company also cited the following statement attributed to the Ukrainian Air Force:
“Our pilots and cadets have been profoundly impressed by the unparalleled realism and lifelike simulations offered by the F-16C Viper flight simulator.” These options facilitate effective pilot coaching, providing a streamlined environment for refining flight skills, honing methods, and preparing for future missions.
Dogfight Boss reportedly seeks collaborations with authorities and private entities to finance, at a minimum, eight additional F-16C flight simulators for Ukraine.
This marks just a month since a pioneering flight simulator rig, harnessing VR technology, earned FAA certification for the first time, further demonstrating the potential of digital and augmented reality to deliver simulations that rival real-world training, with significant cost savings.
