From its stealth gameplay and post-apocalyptic world setting to inspirations drawn from some of horror gaming’s most beloved titles, we’ve uncovered much in anticipation of its launch. However, one aspect that remains relatively unexplored is what players can expect from the game’s technical specifications – namely, its performance and target frame rate.
According to a recent interview with GamingBolt, Stormind Video games disclosed that the upcoming title will boast two graphics modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X, allowing gamers to opt for either 4K resolution at 30 frames per second with Quality Mode or 1440p at 60 FPS with Performance Mode. On Xbox Series S, the game is limited to a single mode, prioritizing 1440p resolution at 30 frames per second, suggesting that those playing on Microsoft’s weaker current-generation console won’t have access to a 60 FPS option.
Whether specific enhancements for a potential PS5 Pro remain speculative at this point. The highly anticipated interview with Stormind Games will be made available soon; stay tuned for further updates.
Launches on October 17th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
