Binary Haze’s highly anticipated sequel is poised to make a major splash when it drops early next month, boasting an impressive array of fresh features and engaging content. Unfortunately, any advancement made through previous enrollment will not be retained as initially planned.
Hiroyuki Kobayashi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Inventive Director at Binary Haze, recently stated that the game’s components available throughout Early Access have undergone significant modifications, thanks to “all of the enhancements and changes we’ve made.” As a result, early adopters may need to start anew.
While we understand that some gamers may be disappointed by this decision, we respectfully request your tolerance. Our paramount priority is delivering the most efficient and superior models to meet your needs, driven by an unwavering commitment to excellence. This deliberate decision was made in pursuit of that singular goal.
Kobayashi clarified that while Model 1.0 lacked comprehensive documentation, it will feature a newly added tutorial cutscene, updates to in-game item stores, refinements to level design, and alterations to maps. By entering early, players gain immediate access to four distinct regions, teeming with formidable foes and influential executives, as well as a diverse array of Homunculi to enlist, each boasting unique skills and abilities.
The game exits early for PC on January 22nd, 2025, with a bonus value enhancement available. The popular strategy game is set to launch on multiple platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch. Stay informed about upcoming developments in the interim.
