A brand new trailer for Borderlands 4 might be on the horizon, but we’re not privy to any technical details just yet.
While mistakes are inevitable for everyone, one would expect a chief executive officer to exercise greater diligence in order to avoid them. Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford remains an enigmatic figure, but his latest announcement has sparked excitement among fans. He recently hinted that a new trailer for Borderlands 4 is imminent, leaving enthusiasts eagerly anticipating the release. With characteristic flair, Pitchford tweeted, “I’m cooking up a sizzling hot Borderlands 4 trailer that’s pure awesomeness.” I’m not authorized to discuss this matter, but unfortunately, I must admit that it’s a sensitive issue. “I’m freaking out, yo,” someone exclaimed. Later, when asked to create a thumbnail, the CEO responded with a GIF featuring the first frames of the trailer’s teaser, commenting, “The first frames of the trailer are the final frames of the teaser.” I’m a sly and cunning individual who delights in pushing people’s buttons. Take care of it.”
As Pitchford acknowledges, the surprise revelation of an impending trailer was not part of his original plan. Why did he do it? Solely he knows the truth. He acknowledged that his initial response was careless, but later revealed that he didn’t want to compromise the publishing and communications teams’ efforts because they’re professionals who know what they’re doing. If you’re looking to effectively address concerns about your workplace culture, consider informing Randy Pitchford of the issues directly.
“So, my phone is ringing nonstop,” the CEO tweeted subsequently. I’m assuming you didn’t intend to announce that a trailer is already available. My unhealthy. Sorry. “Not apologizing.” He also emphasized, “What’s done is done; I’m not deleting it.” In the event that I don’t hear from you within a week, please do not hesitate to contact me at 911.
As the year winds down, it’s reasonable to speculate that this trailer will make its debut at The Game Awards next week, a possibility strengthened by the event’s proximity to December 12, when it commences at 7:30pm ET.
