With its latest update, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, developed by Large Leisure, now supports the PlayStation 5 Pro.
While the introduction of 60 FPS High-quality Mode stands out as the most significant enhancement, there’s more to this update than initially meets the eye. The interior processing power has been enhanced, with the PlayStation Spectral Tremendous Renderer serving as a high-quality upscaler. While it’s likely that PSSR enables 4K output, its true potential remains uncertain.
Despite past titles’ issues with the PS5 Pro, such as and remake, it remains uncertain what impact this will have on future games, particularly those that might swap out PSSR for TSR. Keep tuned for additional updates.
