While many fans are consumed by the uncertainty surrounding the series’ future, Konami remains committed to refining its existing offerings through regular updates and patches. A new iteration of one kind has been released as part of the 2.0 upgrade, offering distinct features for gamers across various platforms – excluding Nintendo Switch.
Gamers across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 4 Pro platforms can now experience enhanced visuals at an upscale 4K resolution, thanks to the introduction of a new Adjusted Mode that leverages internal upscaling technology to deliver superior visual fidelity. On Xbox Series S and PS4, the game is upscaled to a crisp 1080p resolution.
Multiple customised settings for internal decision-making and upscaling have been incorporated across all previously mentioned platforms. While the 2.0 update has rolled out for the sports’ Swap model as well, it doesn’t incorporate any of the previously mentioned improvements; instead, it merely introduces new controller settings and resolves various minor issues.
Following Konami’s challenging launch, the company has maintained a steady pace of updates, an accomplishment worth recognizing, especially given the upcoming reveal of another game in the series.
