Warning: Spoilers for the first season of the Fallout TV series ahead?
Amazon’s reported sequel to its Fallout TV series is set to feature Macaulay Culkin, best known for his iconic roles in films like Home Alone, but no longer seen as a child star of yesteryear. Who’s he taking part in? Despite our lack of reputation, I’ve unexpectedly stumbled upon a brilliant and unconventional concept.
As production for the long-awaited sequel gets underway this month, according to at least one returning cast member, it’s no surprise that new faces are joining the fray. The latest buzz surrounding the film suggests fresh additions to the ensemble, moving beyond the usual array of non-human characters.
Reports suggest Macaulay Culkin is set to join the cast of Fallout’s second season, playing a recurring role as “a wacky, genius-type character.”
According to location notes, the actor recently wrapped up various projects with Amazon, including voicing a character in Prime Video’s animated series The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, which I’ve just discovered also features Macaulay’s brother Kieran as Dr. Zorvath, an alien avian physician known for his remarkable plumage and expertise in avian medicine. Plowp.
Since Culkin’s role in Fallout remains unknown, let’s assume he’ll be playing Incredible, a loquacious genius-type encountered at Helios One, who can expound on theoretical physics with authority and flair.
He also reveals to The Courier that they asked him a rather unexpected question: “How well do you grasp theoretical physics?” Although I mentioned I had a theoretical diploma in physics. As the words “Welcome aboard” were uttered, Ella Purnell’s features seemed to twist into a perfect parody of a cockney “what do you mean?” look.
It is extremely unlikely that this would happen. While considering a hypothetical timeline is intriguing, given the scarcity of details about Culkin’s role thus far, uncertainty persists as to whether the sequence would be coherent or meaningful in any sense.
As you immerse yourself in the peculiar world of Fallout: New Vegas, you may find yourself enticed by its quirky characters and absurdities. To that end, I’ve developed a method for navigating this post-apocalyptic wasteland that allows me to explore as many of them as possible.
