Microsoft has established a consistent rhythm of first-party game releases over the past year, and is poised to cap off the 12-month period with a bang. With its impressive showing so far, the first-person action-adventure game appears poised for success. Developer MachineGames has recently shared details about the game’s technical ambitions, offering a glimpse into its scope and aspirations.
According to an interview with Windows Central, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will prioritise a smooth gaming experience by targeting 60 frames per second. While specifics regarding resolutions and graphics modes remain unclear, it’s anticipated that further information will be disclosed in the coming weeks, according to Torvenius.
As the launch date approaches, we anticipate providing detailed information on the project’s technical aspects, pending successful completion and analysis of the data collected through our monitoring systems. “While specific details are limited, we can confirm that our goal is to achieve a smooth 60 frames-per-second performance on Xbox Series X and Series S, ensuring an uncompromised visual experience for players.” It should genuinely flow seamlessly at a consistent 60 beats per minute.
Scheduled to debut on December 9 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, the upcoming release will also arrive on PlayStation 5 come spring 2025.
