Poncle’s latest collaboration with Konami brings forth the Ode to Castlevania downloadable content, marking their second crossover effort together. The highly anticipated survival horror game will make its debut on Halloween 2024, boasting an expansive map, replete with intricate details, and introducing a cast of complex characters that will test players’ mettle like never before. The popular survival game will release simultaneously on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, as well as mobile devices, priced at $3.99 on October 31, 2024.
Given that this add-on features no vampires, it’s likely that alternative iconic characters from the franchise will take their place as playable alternatives. According to Poncle, more than 20 players are expected to participate. It’s well-known that many characters in the series hail from the esteemed Belmont and Belnades families.

Poncle has confirmed more than 40 unique weapons for the highly anticipated crossover event. Alucard’s Protect, Spear, and Sword abilities will remain active throughout the engagement. Eight distinct types of whips will emerge, building upon the foundation in the original game. The announcement further solidified that Glyphs, elemental magic, and projectiles will be introduced.
Here’s a sneak peek at the animated reveal trailer, which unveiled numerous playable characters that will soon join the mix with the upcoming add-on’s release. It subtly suggests Soma Cruz and Alucard’s potential involvement.
As a reminder, the Konami crossover preceding the DLC in question. The characters and phases from that recreation were confirmed to appear in the Operation Weapons add-on.
The game is available for play on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, with the Ode to Castlevania DLC set to release on October 31, 2024.
