As Red Dead Redemption’s loyal fan base eagerly awaits the game’s PC release in October, we’re reminded that the moment of truth is near for those who’ve been clamoring for a chance to experience the iconic open-world western adventure on their computers.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting a PC port of Rockstar’s 1998 western classic Red Dead Redemption since its initial release in 2010, with numerous rumors and speculations surfacing over the years regarding the game’s potential arrival on the platform, but to date, nothing has come to fruition. Later this week, Rockstar will release pre-purchase options for the latest information update through their official website, with availability also extended to the Rockstar Retailer, Steam, and Epic Games Store. The highly anticipated release will be warmly received by many fans, particularly those with a passion for modding, as the inclusion of Undead Nightmare coincides perfectly with the upcoming Halloween season.
Red Dead Redemption’s PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch releases last year marked a significant milestone for the game, though its modern counterpart Grand Theft Auto V, which is available on every platform under the sun, has not received a PS5 version; however, it does have some FPS options exclusive to the new-gen console. Now, let’s simply observe how long it takes for the train models in the game to be modified into Thomas the Tank Engine.
