Following the disappointing output from both Warner Bros. Games and developer Rocksteady Studios, the latter seems poised to revert back to its winning formula, leveraging the expertise that once made it a fan favorite.
According to Nick Baker, co-founder of XboxEra and renowned leaker, the studio responsible for the collection has reportedly started development on another game. Regardless of whether the title will be a new addition to the existing collection or something entirely novel, uncertainty surrounds its future. Notwithstanding, Baker reveals that PlayStation is attempting to secure an exclusivity agreement for the game.
In 2022, rumors surfaced suggesting that Rocksteady, the renowned developer of Batman: Arkham series, was looking to revisit its roots by crafting a brand-new, single-player focused game following a purported industrial and critical failure.
